Home Times’ ‘Citizen Reporter’ column report of BMC’s road cleaning staff’s laxity has brought cheer to the public as BMC’s road cleaning staff have awakened from their slumber. They have removed the garbage that had been lying unattended since long near Khandoba mandir in Mulund (E), bring much-needed relief to the residents.

BMC had started repair work at Gavanpada M.P. Road opp. Matruchhaya Bldg. gate in Mulund(E) but has left it incomplete since the past one-month causing problems which will have to borne by the public at large.

Garbage has piled up outside Shreeram and Neona Apartments on J. N. Road in Mulund (W) which is causing much stink here.

All the covers of the underground chambers on the road at Mhada Colony near Sainath Chowk have protruded upwards making it dangerous to travel here. Here, cars skid over the covers, causing mishaps. The concerned authorities should look into this.

People have to traverse in darkness at Yogi Hills area in Mulund owing to lack of street lights here. The concerned department should do something about it.
