1) Since the last two days, garbage has been piling up near Patil Tower on S.N.Road. Request BMC to take cognizance of this issue.

2) Water has been accumulating on the road because of drainage overflow. It becomes difficult to move out of Hari Enclave Society at Nahur Gaon. Request the concerned authorities to set right this problem at the earliest.

3) Owing to the negligence of the Traffic Police, illegal hawkers’ cars are being parked at RRT Road in Mulund(W), making it difficult to walk on the road.

4) MSEDCL’s electrical junction box has been lying open near Gor Bldg. on M.G.Road in Mulund (W). This should be looked into at the earliest to avoid a grim tragedy in the future.

5) Illegal hawkers have encroached upon the entire stretch of footpath from Mulund station to Prashant Hotel in Mulund (E). This compels the residents to walk on the road instead of the footpath. This may also lead to accidents.

6) A car has been lying abandoned since many days bang opposite Gulmohur Society at Neelam Nagar near the old post office in Mulund (E).

IMPACT

The pothole near Shri Aniket Society has been levelled by BMC, bringing much relief to the residents. The danger posed by this pothole had been highlighted in the past. This complaint was lodged by Home Times reader, Dipesh Deoria, which was published our ‘Citizen Reporter’ column.
