A sweeper comes to take Diwali bonus but doesn’t clean the footpath as no one from the locals is bothered to ask him.

While we respect the decision of the authorities to provide kiosks to needy families for self-employment and earnings, we are also concerned about the safety of pedestrians. The kiosk in the picture is at the junction of Deen Dayal Nagar Road and Highway Station Road. It’s the busiest junction during morning and evening peak hours. At the same time, the morning walk citizens use the Sambhaji Garden jogging track. Due to this kiosk, there is no passage left for pedestrians, causing real danger to all pedestrians. Authorities could shift the kiosk on the footpath to a slightly wider path closer to the govt-provided garden resting seats.
Thanks.

The street light poles on J.S.D Road and the East-West Highway are ‘ON’ in broad daylight even though the BMC is shouting hoarse to save electricity! Moreover, it is the general public which has to bear the expenses.

This car near Binakumar Society and Priyanka Society has been lying abandoned since the last 3 years. Here, gutter and road repairs work has commenced. Time for the authorities to act in the matter.

The road near the crematorium at Tata Colony is full of garbage on both sides. If the BMC T-Ward does not remove it soon, then there is every likelihood of this area will be another Dumping Ground with its attendant filth leading to a serious health issue for the residents. BMC is requested to keep the area clean.
