This is the MSEDCL transformer sub-station towards the West end of the Railway foot over bridge. It’s being used by vegetable vendors to store their fruits and vegetables. Even the lock of the gate of the transformer sub-station has been broken and whenever the BMC vehicle comes it’s being used by the hawkers to store their materials. With 22,000 / 433-volt supply over there, it’s quite dangerous.

The non-functional street lights at Nanepada in Mulund(E) are posing a big problem to the residents here.

Alcoholics indulge in a drinking spree at Mithagar Road garden under cover of darkness. The dearth of street lights at Ganesh Ghat near Mithagar plunges the area into darkness after sunset. One can spot groups of youngsters consuming alcohol here. The local Senior Citizens Group has cleaned the place, but empty liquor bottles, wafer packets, cigarette butts, etc., can be seen strewn all over the garden. To prevent such nefarious activities, BMC must take immediate steps to increase the number of street lights. Moreover, adequate security measures should be undertaken to prevent lawlessness.

The water tap at Adishakti Nagar, B.R.Road near the pipeline in Mulund(W) is in a broken state since the last 8 days, resulting in tremendous wastage of water. It seems BMC T-Ward is not even aware of it.

Recently, the filth at the nullah at Keshav Pada in Mulund (W) was removed. However, it has been15 days now since this filth was removed by BMC T-Ward. Complaints to T-ward and the contractor have fallen on deaf ears. Until now, 5 snakes have been spotted here and there is a considerable risk of diseases like dengue and malaria spreading here.
