The cement blocks fixed on the footpath opposite I.I.T. gate are lying broken, making a pothole here. This has inconvenienced the residents here who fear they may fall down. The concerned department must take concrete action in this matter.

Heaps of garbage are lying unattended outside Runwal Anthurium and Nemsuri Garden since the last 5 days. This has led to the drainage line flowing slower than usual.

The chambers on the footpaths at Lokmanya Tilak Marg in Mulund (E) have been covered with fibreglass. These become dented if anyone walks over them. No BMC official has done anything to remedy the situation. These fibre glasses or cement covers have been fitted without conducting any research in the matter. The new covers have been fitted over the old covers, causing problems for senior citizens. Many citizens have even tripped over these covers. Complaints in this regard have been lodged with BMC’s Repairs Dept. but to no avail.

Recently, BMC had dug up the road near the Shiv Sena office outside Mulund station. 15 days have elapsed since then but the road has not been tarred yet. Owing to this, the locals have to traverse on the even road, fearful of falling down. The concerned authorities should act post haste and level the road to its original condition.
