Awareness Drive for Ashwamedh Yagna – 2021 Gayatri Family organizes Ashwamedh Shakti Yagna Kalash

The Gayatri Parivar had started an awareness drive to make Ashwamedh Yagna -2021 a grand success. The Parivar organized Ashwamedh Shakti Yagna Kalash puja ceremony at different places in Mumbai and Thane.

The ceremony was held on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Sanskriti Bhavan, Kandivali.  The ceremony was held under the guidance of Doctor Babuji. The ceremony was attended by many eminent personalities like Pujariji (social activist), Yogesh Sagar (Minister of State for Urban Development, Government of Maharashtra), Disha Vakani (famous actress Dayaben of TV serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah), amongst others.

A similar ceremony of Ashwamedh Shakti Yagna Kalash was held on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Shri Kutchi Lohana Mahajanwadi, RRT Road in Mulund West. The ceremony was attended by more than 300 devotees. Among the distinguished people were Vrijmohan Gaudji Bapu and Manubhai Patel (senior representative of the Gayatri Parivar) who appealed to Mulundkars to help in making the Gayatri Ashwamedha Mahayagna a grand success. Shri Mahesh Pujari launched the Shakti Kalash Rath. Hundreds of devotees attended the Rath Yatra.  Many prominent personalities of Mulund also attended. Also present were officer-bearers of Shri Kutchi Lohana Mahajanwadi.

The Ashwamedh Shakti Yagna Kalash ceremony was also held on Saturday, 14, 2019 at Hiranandani Club, Thane. Shri Mahesh Pujari (M.D.) was the Chief Guest. Mahesh Gupta (a member of Hiranandani Group), in his brief speech, explained that Ashwamedh Yagna is not just a Hindu ritual, but has a scientific significance which is pivotal for the protection of the environment in future.

Gayatri Family pledges to plant and protect 1 lakh trees
Besides the auspicious the Ashwamedh Yagna -2021, the Gayatri Family has pledged to plant and protect 1 lakh trees. The tree plantation drive has received encouraging support from Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Forests Department in the Government of Maharashtra. In the past 4 months, already 10,000 trees have been planted. These trees will be protected and taken care of for 7 years until they are fully grown and can survive independently.

It may be noted that the Gayatri Parivar had been founded by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya and has numerous members across the world.
