Bursitis

Bursitis is a painful condition of the joints, which occurs when there is inflammation in the bursae.  Bursae are fluid-filled sacs near the joints which cushion and lubricate the bones, tendons and muscles around the joints. The common areas affected with bursitis are shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and heels.
Symptoms:

Dull pain in joint with movement or pressure
Swelling, with redness
Tenderness around the joint
Common causes of Bursitis:

Repetitive movements that put pressure on the bursae around a joint
Injury or infection in the joint
Rheumatoid arthritis or gout
Ageing
Diabetes
Obesity, which increases the risk of hips and knees bursitis

Give rest to the affected joint
Application of ice pack around the inflamed joint
Eat anti-inflammatory diet
Take regular breaks between repetitive activities
Do simple stretching exercises
Sujok Therapy:

Regularly move the Sujok ring on all fingers of hands 25 times, 2-3 times daily. The joints in fingers correspond to all joints of hands and legs (pic 1).

If it is bursitis of left knee, first apply green color on the middle joint of middle finger of the left hand and then for continuous stimulation, apply fenugreek seeds (methi) around the joint. (pic 2).
