Chronic Constipation
Life can be really miserable for people suffering from chronic constipation. Chronic constipation is a digestive disorder in which we have less than 3 bowel movements per week. Complications
Haemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum or around the anus area which can bulge or cause pain or bleeding while passing hard stools.
Anal fissures are small tears in the skin around the anus, which can become infected and cause pain, itchiness and bleeding.
Faecal impaction is the inability to naturally push the hard, dry stools which have stuck in the colon (large intestine).
Rectal prolapse is a condition when part of colon protrudes outside the body through the anus.
