‘CLINICAL’ THEFT!!!
A thief who broke into a clinic at Highland Park in Mulund (W) has been arrested by Mulund Police. A complaint of theft at a clinic situated at Highland Park, Shastri Nagar, was filed at Mulund Police Station on Nov. 30, 2019. The police took this complaint seriously and, with great alacrity, not only nabbed the thief within 7 days but also recovered the entire booty.
The complainant, Dr Kishorilal Durgaprasad Giani, runs an Ear Nose Throat (ENT) clinic at Mulund Colony. As usual, she closed her clinic at 7 p.m. and left for home. The next day when she went to open the clinic, to her horror she found that the clinic’s lock had been broken. She immediately realised that her clinic had been burgled. Upon entering she discovered that a laptop, operation headlight with charger, hearing aid machine and some cash was missing from the venue. She immediately lodged a complaint against unknown thieves at Mulund Police Station.
The police conducted a panchnama at the scene of the crime and began tracing the accused. As per sources, the police have arrested the accused, Murpreet Singh aka Mura Sukhvir Singh Sandhu (25) from Ganesh Gully at Amar Nagar on Dec. 7, 2019, who confessed his crime and returned the entire loot. The police are investigating the matter further.
