EEH MISHAP
Two commuters were seriously injured in a car mishap on the Eastern Express Highway near Airoli Bridge on Monday afternoon. A Santro car was speeding from Mumbai towards Thane when the driver, Varun Gandhe, lost control of the vehicle at Airoli Bridge, jumped the divider and rammed into an oncoming Santro from Thane side. This tragic accident has left the Mumbai-bound passengers, Niranjan Gandhi and Anil Prajapati of the oncoming Santro car severely injured. Owing to this accident, cars plying from Thane rammed into each other. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this mishap. However, Navghar Police have booked Varun Gandhe for rash and negligent driving.
