FINALLY, ABANDONED AUTO REMOVED!! ELECTRIC SUPPLY JUNCTION BOX CLOSED!!
The electric supply junction box of MSEDCL at Mulund’s Jai Alka Society which was left open has been finally closed by the concerned officials. What’s more, the abandoned auto rickshaw at Murar Road has been removed, bringing immense relief to the residents of these areas.
According to sources, MSEDCL’s electric junction box had been lying open which could have led to mishaps. Also, an abandoned auto rickshaw had been lying near a building at Murar Road for quite some time. Home Times promptly brought these two issues to the notice of the concerned authorities, awakening them from their slumber and prompting them to act post haste. Now, the electric junction box has been closed and the auto which had been lying there since the last six months has been removed.
This auto had become the den of alcoholics and druggies. A notice calling upon the unidentified owner to remove the auto within 24 hours had also been pasted on the windshield. Later, a towing van had been brought here to remove the auto, but failed as there were no wheels attached. Since then, it was ignored by the authorities. However, Home Times changed all that and soon the auto was removed. Another feather in the cap for Home Times.
