FINALLY, PAVEMENT CLEARED OUTSIDE SIDDHARTH GARDEN

Finally, the debris from the pavement repairs that had piled up on the pavement at Siddharth Garden has been removed. The residents of Mulund’s Deendayal Marg had raised serious issues about the repairs to the pavement. They alleged that debris removed from the repairs to the pavement had been dumped at the garden’s entrance and left unattended. This caused problems for the residents there. This issue was highlighted by Home Times in one of its editions. Moreover, its reporters had discussions with the concerned department on behalf of the citizens. Thereafter, the repairs materials were kept at one side, with an assurance that they would be completely removed once the repairs work was completed and the pavement freed of all equipment. Subsequently, all the material has been completely removed and the pavement rendered absolutely clean for the benefit of all concerned. The pavement has been restored to its original condition.

There were no dustbins here for wet and dry garbage as also the children’s slide was in a damaged condition. What’s more, a new slide has been installed and dustbins provided. A bonus in the form of a new jogging track and greenery all around has been offered, much to the delight of the locals. Now, Siddharth garden wears a swanky look, thanks to Home Times.
