GRAND BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF SANT SHIROMANI JALARAM BAPA
The Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sant Shiromani Jalaram Bapa was held with great devotion in every nook and corner of Mulund, including many housing societies. On this occasion, many religious events were also held at various venues which had devotees participating in great numbers with religious fervour. The Jalaram Satsang Mandal-Mulund organised the Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sant Jalaram Bapa with great pomp and spectacle at the Shri Kutchi Lohana Mahajan Wadi in Mulund (W). This was the 220th Birth Anniversary of Sant Shiromani Jalaram Bapa who hailed from Virpur in Kutch where this day is celebrated in a very special way. In Mulund, also known as ‘Mini Kutch’, a procession was taken out from 7a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by a grand ‘Maha Aarti’ which saw the presence of Mulund’s elite like MP Shri Manoj Kotak, Shri Mihir Kotecha, all Trustees of Mulund Lohana Mahajan and office-bearers of the Ad Hoc Committee who participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm and zeal.
Renowned preacher, respected Ashishbhai Vyas also sought divine blessings of Jalaram Bapa and praised the traditional birth anniversary celebration of this great Sant. Thereafter, as usual, a Mahabhandara was organised where devotees partook of prasad consisting of khichdi-kadhi and sukhdi. Another aarti was performed at 8.30 p.m. followed by a bhajan programme. In this way entire Mulund was bathed in Jalaram Bapa’s bhakti on this auspicious occasion.
