MINOR ARGUMENT TURNS VIOLENT
Prashant Mishra, a resident of Patra Chawl in Mulund(E),was bathing outside his house when some water accidentally spilt on Sawan Raju Jakvadia who was passing by the accused’s house. This led to a minor argument which later developed into a major brawl. In all this ruckus, Prashant’s mother, Radhika, handed over a knife to Prashant who grievously assaulted Sawan on his head and hands. Sawan was rushed to Veer Savarkar Civic Hospital for treatment.
However, in a twist to the tale, Prashant’s mother filed a cross-complaint against Sawan u/s 354 of IPC (molestation).
The Navghar police arrested all of them and produced them before the Mulund Court magistrate who has remanded the trio to judicial custody till May 11. Navghar police are further investigating to know the truth.
