MNS’ Halla Bol Morcha !!

The Mulund Wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) raised ‘halla bol’ slogans as it took out a massive Halla Bol Morcha in Mulund against the dismal plight of MT Agarwal Hospital and the inconvenience caused to the public at BMC hospitals in the Mulund.

On Wednesday, November 23, 2018, at around 11 a.m., MNS activists, in large numbers, took out a Halla Bol Morcha from P.K. Road and reached T-Ward office. To depict the critical condition of MT Agarwal Hospital, MNS activists had even made a huge cut-out of Yamraj. Besides attacking the BJP government at the Centre, MNS leaders even directed critical remarks at Mulund BJP leaders.

Expressing their grievances, the MNS leaders told T-Ward officials that MT Agarwal Hospital itself is in a critical condition and must be soon renovated. Secondly, MNS leaders lamented how the patients are being ill-treated at civil hospitals. They are not getting treatment at the right time due to lack of staff. There are no medicines available to patients and no doctors, hence patients are angry and agitated.
Speaking to Home TimesRajesh Chavan, Mulund MNS President, said, “It may be noted that, for the past few months, the condition of MT Agarwal Hospital building is dilapidated. Hence, the hospital is shut, and patients have been asked to get treatment at a small make-shift hospital erected in T-Ward.” He added, “Patients complain that during an emergency this hospital is good for nothing. It has no expert doctor or the required facility to handle any emergency. Hence, patients are sent to Sion Hospital. Frustrated citizens had thus approached us with their grievances. Hence, we conducted this morcha and gave a letter of demands to the Chief Health Officer at T-Ward.”
Rajesh Chavan further informed, “MT Agarwal hospital has been shut for many months now, but till this day no repair work at MT Agarwal hospital has started. It is shameful that neither the BMC nor the BJP leaders in power are bothered about the renovation of this Hospital. Hence, we have given the T-ward an ultimatum to start proper functioning of all civil hospitals in Mulund by December 15, 2018 or else we will handle the situation in our typical MNS style.”

The morcha was attended by prominent MNS leaders like Rajesh Chavan (Mulund MNS President), Satyavan Dalvi, Rajendra Deshmukh and others.
