Mulund Cries Out “Pakistan Murdabad”
Mulund echoed to the chants of ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ as hundreds of angry Mulundkars took to the streets on the night of Thursday, soon after the horrific news of the martyrdom of 40 CRPF jawans was flashed on TV!
Soon after the jihadi attack news spread like wildfire, Mulundkars carrying the tricolour came out of their houses and spilt on to the streets and chanted anti-Pakistani slogans like ‘Pakistan Murdabad’! Angry Mulundkars demanded strong action against Pakistan by the Indian government for supporting terrorism. At many places in Mulund, people paid condolences to the martyred soldiers killed in the cowardly attack.
Besides Mulund, the entire country condemned Pakistan for sponsoring this shameful and cowardly attack on the Indian CRPF soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. In Bhandup, too, all the political parties paid homage to the martyred soldiers and condemned the vile attack in the strongest words. Shiv Sena targeted Modi governance and demanded to strike down Article 370 of the Constitution related to Jammu and Kashmir. Shiv Sena also burnt the effigy of the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmed Dar.
Both, Mulund – Bhandup Police handled the tense situation intelligently. The police announced high alert and organised nakabandi.
Besides, Mulund and Bhandup, angry Indians in all parts of the country expressed their resentment in various ways.
