New Road Gets 7 Electric Poles And LED Lights
Kudos to Home Times. Your favourite newspaper has done it again!! Readers may recollect Home Times had brought to light the issue of public woes who had been complaining of no street lights on the new road between Shree Swami Samarth Udyan and Eastern Express Highway. Home Times took up the issue with the Administration and has succeeded in awakening MSEDCL. MSEDCL has erected new electric poles and has lit up the area with the latest technology LEDs! The residents are elated and have expressed joy and thanked Home Times for its contribution to society!!
If the residents are to be believed, they have been unhappy since the beginning of the construction of the new road. After the road was constructed, the administration forgot to erect electric poles. The area was left in darkness. This gave the anti-social elements ample opportunity to unleash terror. Thus, residents were afraid and made complaints to Home Times to make arrangements for electric poles. Due to the darkness, even the senior citizens in the area were not able to enjoy their evening walk. Eventually, Home Times came to the rescue of the beleaguered citizens and took up the issue with MSEDCL.
MSEDCL understood the issue and awoke from their slumber. They have now erected 7 electric poles with LEDs and have lit up the area. M.S. Raut, a senior citizen elated with LEDs on the road expressed joy. He told Home Times, “We are happy that MSEDCL has used LEDs as LEDs give more light and are durable. Also, with the roads lit up the goons and alcoholics who took advantage of the darkness have taken to their heels.”
