Pipeline and pothole repaired at Guru Govind Singh Marg !
Mulund: Thanks to the efforts of Home Times, the civic administration has not only repaired the water pipeline but has also filled the pothole at Guru Govind Singh Marg in Mulund West. The residents staying at Guru Govind Singh Marg are now a relieved lot and have thanked Home Times as they have got permanent relief from the wastage of water and pothole.
Expressing gratitude to Home Times, Mangala Mandre, a local resident of Guru Govind Singh Marg said, “I am thankful to Home Times and appreciate their dedication because they have been supporting us since long.
They have been consistently following up with the civic department to get the water pipelines repaired and fill the pothole. Finally, their efforts have yielded results. I hope now we don’t have to again face water leakage and pothole issues.”
An autorickshaw driver, Bashir Nagarji, delighted at the filling of the pothole, said, “A few months, back due to the killer pothole on this road, my auto rickshaw had turned turtle and in the accident, my hand was fractured. Like me, many drivers and pedestrians have become victims of the deadly potholes. I am grateful to Home Times for coming to our rescue and getting the grave issue of the local citizens solved! I salute Home Times!”
It may be noted, after residents staying of Guru Govind Singh Marg lamented their water leakage and pothole issues to Home Times, our reporters succeeded in awakening the BMC T-Ward officials. Though the civic department officials did awaken, tragically, the callous BMC staff only mended the water pipeline and did not fill the killer pothole! Hence, Home Times again took up the issue with the civic department and eventually got the pothole filled!
