Prabhakar Shinde Appointed Prabhag Samiti President of S & T Wards
Popular leader, Prabhakar Shinde, has been appointed President of Prabhag Samiti’s Mulund – T and Bhandup S – Ward. It may be noted that, earlier,the post was held by corporator Sarika Pawar.
There are 20 corporators in both S and T-Wards. Interestingly, in both the wards the number of BJP corporators are more, hence each year during the Prabhag Samiti’s elections, maximum BJP leaders are elected. This year, Prabhakar Shinde has been made President of the Mulund -T and Bhandup S -Ward.
Veteran politician Prabhakar Shinde is a renowned name in politics. He is an ex-Shiv Sena leader who later joined BJP. Shinde was elected as Corporator from Ward number 106. For the past 17 years, Shinde has been working as a corporator. He has the experience of working as a leader at the BMC Sabhagrah. Hence, citizens have faith that Shinde’s experience will benefit in the work of Prabhag Samiti.
Speaking to Home Times, Prabhakar Shinde said, “We are taking maximum care that Mulundkars should not face any problem during monsoon. Hence, we are working on war footing to complete the work of gutters and nullahs.”
In addition, Prabhakar Shinde also assured Home Times to solve the problem of debris in Mulund East and make the premises clean and tidy. “We are also working to solve the shortage of water and health-related issues with the help of the government,” asserted Shinde.
