Pyorrhoea – cure gum disease without any medicines
Pyorrhoea is a serious gums infection which damages the gums, jaw bone and, finally, the teeth. It is a very common disorder caused due to poor oral hygiene. The common symptoms are bleeding while brushing teeth, bad breath, swollen and red gums. Our oral health is a very important indication of our overall health. If left untreated it can lead to serious health issues.
What is Pyorrhoea?
Pyorrhea is a bacterial gum infection having 3 stages:
Gingivitis – early inflammatory stage of gums, caused by a bacterial infection in plaque (colourless film on teeth) which build-ups in the Gumline due to poor oral health.
The infection reaches jaw bone and supporting gum tissues.
Advanced stage wherein gum tissues and jaw bone are irreversibly damaged resulting in shifting, loosening and falling of teeth. There is bleeding, pus formation and bad breath in the mouth. Sometimes, pus is swallowed while eating, resulting in more infections.

The early stage can be easily reversed by proper brushing, flossing and warm saltwater gargles.
Turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Regularly massaging gums with turmeric in coconut oil helps reduce infection and inflammation.

Since acidity is one of the causes of Pyorrhoea, so a daily application of carrom seeds (ajwain) on the little fingernail of the right hand is very effective ( pic 2).
