School students conduct a rally focusing for the ‘Rights Of Children’

All the schools across Mulund celebrated I-Day with exceptional fervor and patriotic passion. Each school in Mulund unfurled the tricolor and sung the national anthem. After the unfurling of the flag, every school conducted a cultural event. However, a school, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM) in Mulund celebrated I-Day with a difference.

The school took out an impressive rally throughout Mulund that focused on the ‘Rights of Children’. Students took-up the vital issues of the children’s right in India. Burning issues like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Abolish Child Labor, Need for Secularism and Brotherhood, Enhance Tolerance, etc. were raised by the students. The students walked on the streets of Mulund chanting these thought-provoking slogans. To highlight these slogans and attract the attention of the people the student’s and made many attractive placards that depicted the burning slogans concerning the problems of children.

The Rally consisted of about 135 students from class VIII to X. The Rally started from the school premises of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir and marched to Mulund railway station passing through J.N. Road and returned to school.

In another humanitarian gesture, the students distributed food packets to the poor and underprivileged children on roads.
