Super Mom Contest Organizers Con 47 Ladies!
After the huge success of beauty pageants or beauty contests, these days the trend of Super Mom Contest has gripped the country. In these contests mothers who have maintained their figures elegantly have the opportunity to display their beauty and inspire other moms to be fit and trim. However, the Super Mom contest proved an annoyance for 47 ladies who were cheated as the organizers escaped leaving the finalists in the lurch.
According to reports two fraudsters, Tarun Das and Tanushree Das had announced a National Level India’s Super Mom Contest. They formed a fake company and attracted contestants through social media advertisements. Many ladies filled the forms. Auditions were held at Mumbai and other prominent cities. Finally, 47 women across the country were selected for the final contest. But, alas, when the contestants reached the Pune venue for the final event they were shattered as the organizers had escaped, leaving the contestants shattered and red-faced!
Kareena Vaswani, a Mulund lady who was selected for the finals, informed, “The contest selected only those ladies who had a single child aged 1.5 years. After the selection of 47 ladies, the organizers took Rs. 20,000/- to Rs 50,000/-as registration fees. Later, the organizers conducted a grooming session for the finalists. Organizers conducted grooming sessions in different cities where the selected ladies resided.
These grooming sessions lasted for one month but on the day of the finals, the organizer duo Tarun Das and Tanushree Das fled!
A helpless Kareena Vaswani has complained to Navghar police station and is running helter-skelter to seek justice!
