T-WARD’S NEW MANTRA…CLEAN AND DUMP!!!
The drainage repairs work opposite Raja Industrial Estate at P. K. Road had been started around 15 days ago and has been completed about 5 days back. At that time filth, dirt and debris from the gutter had been removed and dumped at the side of the road. The site of the repairs was at the junction of the road much frequented by both pedestrians and motorists, which caused great problems for them as also leading to traffic snarls. At that time, the residents here bore the inconvenience stoically for a fortnight, braving much inconvenience. However, even after the repairs, the locals here are finding it difficult to walk because of all the muck excavated and heaped on the roadside. Moreover, the callousness of our T-Ward officials has ensured that after some time either the pedestrians or motorists will be able to use this road individually, but never collectively. T-Ward, PLEASE spare us, in Heaven’s name!!!
