UNSIGHTLY DOG CREATES PANIC
A poor unsightly dog, afflicted with a rare disease, provided much fear in residents of Bhandup as it was something more than what Bhandupkars had bargained for.
It seems, on Tuesday morning, the diseased animal was found lying near Kaka Petrol Pump at LBS Marg in Bhandup. Its bold-shot eyes had bulged out of their sockets which was rare, and this created panic amongst the residents there.
The locals had seen a dog with both eyes bleeding, but this was strange! This ghastly appearance brought back memories of the previous dog that they had seen at the same place. People fled from the place the moment they saw this poor creature. Upon receiving this information, RAWW President, Pawan Sharma and his volunteers immediately reached the site and took custody of the poor animal. Upon enquiring, the locals informed Pawan Sharma that this was the first time they had beheld such strange sight. Interestingly, a lady had called RAWW claiming she had lost her dog which fit the description of the stray. However, the stray has yet not been identified. In the meanwhile, the dog has been admitted to Thane’s S.P.C.A Hospital for further treatment.
