Vote for the Right Representative and Not the Party!

Assembly Elections in Maharashtra are round the corner and once again Mumbaikars have to vote to elect representatives to the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha. The tug-of-war to grab the voters’ attention has started. Top politicos of various political parties have started wooing the voters across Maharashtra. Once again, the netas have started showing rosy dreams to garner their vote banks. However, Home Times wishes to enlighten its readers that your vote is very precious, so think twice before casting your vote.

When you cast your vote, you select your representative who will voice your woes in the Legislative Assembly. Hence, it is paramount to select the right representative who is dedicated to mankind, has a history of serving society and has the esteem of being an honest leader. Remember, never vote for the party, always vote for the candidate. It is the candidate who will be vocal for your rights in the Legislative Assembly and not the party. Thus, it is vital that that educated new generation does not get carried by the party but instead study the candidate of your area. Check his background, his education and his track record. If you select the right candidate then you will have no qualms as your representative would do his work sincerely and you would reap its dividends.

These days, several leaders make tall claims of development and growth. But, once they win the votes they take a U-Turn and are not seen for 5 years. Thus, if we truly wish the progress and prosperity of our state then the ball is in our court. Voters, it is up to you to spread awareness among the people to select the right candidate – a candidate who is above the party name, a candidate who is aware of our problems, a candidate who will fight to give us basic necessities like water, electricity, house, cleanliness, women’s safety, secured life, education, transport and make our lives prosperous.

These days social media, What’s App and other forms of electronic media have become the easiest means to propagate about a party and win votes. Home Times cautions its readers to keep aloof from such publicity and instead use their intelligence to select the right candidate. And, last but not least, remember the ‘Vote is your Weapon’ to change the governance that you dislike and choose governance of your choice.

Thus, every eligible voter must come out from the comfort of his/her home on the voting day to cast his/her valuable vote. It is useless to curse a weak government if you do not cast your vote. It is generally observed that people make comments against the government, but on the day of voting, they skip to vote! These people are seen either holidaying with friends and family or sleeping in their house. Thus, if we do vote then we do not have the right to criticize the government!

So, Home Times urges Mulundkars to get set for voting day. Check your names in the voting list to avoid any last-minute glitch and vote for the ‘Right Representative and Not the Party’!
