Women’s Health – Uterine Fibroids
Uterine fibroids are very common benign tumours that develop in or on a woman’s uterus during her reproductive period. Fibroids are abnormal growths made up of muscle cells and fibrous connective tissues, which can become quite big and cause heavy bleeding, irregular periods, severe abdominal pain and also mood swings.
Fibroids are classified into 3 kinds according to their position:
Submucosal fibroids grow in the hollow cavity of the uterus
Intramural fibroids grow within the wall of the uterus
Subserosal fibroids grow outside uterus
Causes:
Age – common during the age of 30 to 40 years
Hereditary
Obesity
Unhealthy eating habits
Chronic stress
Hormonal imbalance

Regularly activate the corresponding point of the uterus at the base of any finger, with probe or pen, pencil. Do the stimulation for a minute, 3 times daily (pic 1).
