Garbage has been thrown all around Azad Nagar near MSEDCL which has resulted in dirt and filth lying strewn on the road here. It also leads to traffic problems. BMC should install at least 4-5 garbage bins or provide bins to the locals. If BMC does this, then we will be able to proudly carry forward the Swachh Bharat mission.

There being no street lights on the stretch between Mehul Cinema and Sarvodaya Nagar, auto rickshaw drivers park their autos here unattended. What’s more, goons occupy these autos and peep into our homes. Because of this there are 4-5 buildings in this area whose residents have to put up with great inconvenience.

There are no street lights in Neelam Nagar, Phase 2, in Mulund (E) since the last few days, which makes it difficult to walk here at night. It is difficult to gauge the depth of the potholes here which leads to people falling on the road. The concerned authorities should take corrective action soon.

At Mithagar Road in Mulund (E), heaps of garbage collected from the buildings has been lying unattended. Also, 3 dis-used cars and an ambulance have been parked here, compelling the residents to walk on the road.

At Gavanpada in Mulund (E), the traffic signal has been hidden by overhanging branches, making it difficult for motorists to read the signal.

Day by day, the condition of the stretch of road between Juna Mulund in Mulund (W) and D. G. Road has been worsening. There are many potholes on the road along with covers protruding out of the gutters.

Instead of paying BMC and removing the garbage emanating from Pannalal Compound at Bhandup Industrial Estate on LBS Marg the locals throw the same outside the compound. Gradually, garbage has been piling up here.
