This road is at MHADA colony in Mulund (E) and has been lying in a bad state. A bus depot is nearby and citizens frequent this road a lot. Yet, the concerned authorities care very little about the road, displaying utter apathy.

The electric junction box at Rajiv Gandhi Playground at Nahur village has been lying open in a bad state. Children and senior citizens come here to play and take walks. All the junction boxes are at an arm’s length of the kids which may someday lead to serious accidents.

Letter to Editor

Harikripa Bldg. situated at Mulund’s Tata Colony in Mulund (E) was demolished 10 years ago for repairs. However, since there was no progress in the restoration work of this bldg., the area has begun to become another jungle with wild shrubs growing everywhere. Also, this place is slowly becoming a dumping ground with rats, snakes, and insects. The locals find it difficult to traverse here because of the foul smell and fear of snake bites. Moreover, the dried tall grass and trees are an open invitation to frequent fires. BMC is hereby requested to pay attention to this problem at the earliest and clean up the area and inform the Building Repairs Dept.of the same.

– Shekhar Chandrakant Bhosle, Mulund (E)
