Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebrated

Guru Nanak Jayanti, the auspicious festival of the Sikh community, is being celebrated since the past 60 years at Mulund Colony in Mulund West. The festival is celebrated with traditional pomp and spectacle at Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara.

On Thursday, November, 22, a procession was carried out in the evening and was attended by thousands of Sikh community members. Bhupinder Singh Kher, informed Home Times, “The major highlight of the procession was the display of using lethal weapons like swords, bows and arrows by school students. The procession started from Mulund Colony and covered prominent places of Mulund like LBS road, Devidayal Road, Paanch Rasta, M.G. Road and returned to Mulund Colony.
