Beautification of Mumbai’s Entry Points

Soon, the entry points into Mumbai, the financial capital of India, will be wearing a new look for which a proposal has been sent to the government. Like Thane, all the entry points of Mumbai will be beautified. Under the aegis of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, MSRDC this project will be undertaken which will soon transform the entry points at Mulund and Airoli into beautiful spots. Night commuters from Thane to Mumbai will be able to witness bright lights, jogging track, open air gym and gaming spots for kids under these flyovers. This project will bring about a beautiful change in the city. A similar project was started by the Thane Municipal Corporation which drew all-round applause from Thanekars.

Now, MSRDC is all set to undertake a similar project at Mumbai’s entry points at Mulund’s MHADA Colony and Airoli. The entire scenario at these two flyovers is soon going to undergo a sea change. Today, the areas under the flyovers are full of dirt and old cars. But, all this will give way to beautiful gardens under the flyovers after giving the place a thorough clean-up. Now, these spots will support a walking track and a garden. Vehicles will not be allowed to park here and strict security arrangements will be made. Beautiful electrification is on the cards which will give a welcoming look to these entry points, according to MSRDC officials.
