MULUND NEWSPAPER VENDORS ASSOCIATION’S SATYANARAYAN MAHAPOOJA
The Mulund Newspaper Vendors Association recently held its annual Satynarayan Mahapooja at the Kutchi Lohana Mahasangh’s premises in Mulund(W).
This was the 26th year of this Mahapooja when an entertainment programme was also held. Irrespective of the scorching summer heat or the drenching rains, these newspaper vendors deliver newspapers at our door-step for our reading pleasure of the events throughout the world. Their work commences early morning when they set out on their daily delivery rounds. It is because of their prompt and hard work that has strengthened the Fourth Pillar of our Democracy. This event brought together the vendors and their families in a grand show of bonhomie.
This was disclosed by Rajesh Sasane, President of Mulund Newspapers Association and Mili Nath Hambir, Secretary of the Association. On this occasion, Hemanshu Kothari, Editor of Home Times as also editors of other publications were felicitated.
