AT LAST!! A CHANCE TO VOTE!!

The joy and happiness of voting on the face of Bhandup resident, Dev Anand Lendey (27), was beyond words to express. Reason? Well, Devanand Lendey had been anxious to vote ever since he turned eligible to vote but, alas, due to one obstacle or the other he could not vote!

First, he failed to vote as his voting card was not ready and the second round when his voting card was ready, his name was missing from the voting register! However, this time he made it sure that his name was registered and he would surely cast his vote! To exercise his voting right, Devanand Lendey came down from Karnataka. Eventually, on April 29, after he had voted he was so thrilled that his pleasure knew no bounds! Devanand Lendey told Home Times, “I did not want to lose the opportunity of voting this time, hence I did all the formalities in advance and got registered my name in the voting list to avoid disappointment. After casting my vote, I was almost overwhelmed with happiness.”

It may be noted Devanand Lendey came to Mumbai from Karnataka along with his 5 friends, all in the age group of 25 -30 years. They all came with the single objective to vote!
