Personal enmity leads to murder in Bhandup 

Rivalry among friends these days has turned lethal. Recently, in Bhandup, a blooming cricketer was killed owing to personal enmity.

According to Bhandup Police the victim, Rakesh Pawar (35), was an excellent cricketer and a good cricket coach. Giving details about the murder, the police said, “Pawar was on his way home at night when he was brutally killed by three unidentified assailants. The killers stopped his vehicle near Mahavir Petrol Pump and attacked him with sharp weapons on his head. He died on the spot.”

Bhandup Police suspect personal enmity as the motive behind the crime. Sources reveal Rakesh had some differences with his locality youth. Earlier, too, he was targeted but had survived. All the accused are absconding. The police have registered a case under IPC sections 302, 506 (3) and are hunting down the murderers.
