Man rapes woman on false promise of marriage; Arrested!
Mulund Police have arrested Nitin Zende, a Mulund resident who repeatedly raped a woman on the pretext of marrying her.
Mulund Police informed the media that the accused, Nitin Zende (38), came in contact with the victim a few months back. Soon, the two became good friends. After winning the confidence of the lady, Zende began taking money from the lady for his business. He took money from the lady on several occasions. After Nitin won the complete trust of the lady, he cleverly convinced her for sex with his sweet talk. Initially, the lady denied but Nitin, on the pretext of marrying her, succeeded in winning her over and, on multiple occasions, raped her.
However, when the lady demanded to marry him, Nitin kept delaying and when the lady insisted, Nitin began ignoring her. To avoid her, Nitin snapped the relationship with her. The lady eventually understood the evil motives of the accused. She realized that she has been taken on a ride and exploited by Nitin. Hence, she lodged a police complaint. Nitin is presently in judicial custody.
