Ace Photographer SIDDHARTH SHINGADE
Siddharth Shingade has not only made himself proud but has given good reason to the residents of Bhandup to lift their heads high.
An artist by profession, Siddharth landed at President Ramnath Kovind’s chamber to receive his award. This achievement has earned him great applause everywhere. Siddharth, one of the several artists who had displayed their photos at Rashtrapati Bhavan, had displayed some of his works. President Kovind awarded the artists and praised their work which was appreciated by many aficionados. President Kovind singled out Siddharth for praise and felicitated him.
Siddharth is a resident of Konkan Nagar in Bhandup and had secured admission at the J.J. School of Arts from where he launched his career in art. Painting on the canvas, he participated in competitions at the district and state levels where he won many prizes. He was awarded three prizes from the Maharashtra Govt. and won praise from all quarters. Moreover, he has exhibited his paintings in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Viet Nam amongst other countries.
Siddharth maintains that his village people are very happy at his success as they have also felt honoured. His achievement has not only brought pride to Bhandup but also Mulund and the whole of Maharashtra boasts the public with elation and pride.
